Antares ConServer-1053 includes a Fast SCSI and a buffered Ethernet on asingle SBus card. The 10 megabyte per second transfer rate reduces timewasted by disks waiting for each other. The fast SCSI allows you toconnect seven (7) additional SCSI devices. The buffered Ethernetconverts your SBus computer into an Ethernet gateway, router, or bridge.It includes a 10Base-T transceiver. It also has a 32-byte burst DMAcombine with on-board FIFO's and caching to minimize demands on the hostsystem. All necessary software drives are shipped by Sun with SunOS andSolaris 2.
